Can it be close to that time of the year already? I hope you are all having an adventurous, relaxing, and fun summer so far. Here at Crystal Lake, we are having a great summer, and we’re also gearing up for another awesome school year with our Crystal Lake Tigers. I’d like to give a special hello to our new CLS families- welcome to an amazing school community; you’re going to love it here!
Families of students in Grades 1-6, you may access your child's classroom teacher and information by logging into your Infinite Campus parent portal next Friday, August 14th at 12:00 PM. You can access your parent portal on Infinite Campus.
You should see your child’s homeroom teacher listed by using the “Schedule” tab within Infinite Campus. You can also click on the ‘More’ option and see that there is an area to access an electronic ‘Backpack.’ This backpack is where you will be able to access a welcome letter from your child’s classroom teacher. Along with the placement information on August 14th, we will also provide you with links for all students with supply lists for the upcoming school year. These lists are also on our Crystal Lake School website.
Kindergarten families have received a separate communication with more detailed information regarding Kindergarten Orientation, which will be held on Monday, August 17th. Supply lists will also be available to Kindergarten families on August 14th.
You will be receiving your first CLS Paw Print (our Friday newsletter) on Friday, August 21st. You will also be hearing from our amazing CLS PTO soon; please consider joining or volunteering! There’s always exciting and fun learning happening at Crystal Lake School.
I hope everyone continues to enjoy their summer, and we'll see our Tigers for Meet & Greet Wednesday, August 26th, 1:30-2:15, and the first day of school(!) on Thursday morning, August 27th. More information will be coming soon; in the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer!
