Our district website is getting a makeover, and we can’t wait to share it with you! We’re redesigning with families in mind to make it easier to stay informed, connected, and engaged. Also starting in January, CLS will be moving to Parent Square for our school communication.

Thank you to everyone who assisted in our 51st CLS Pancake Breakfast in December, it was a huge success! Please see the attached video, thank you also to Mrs. Castonguay for putting this together.

With the colder weather settling in, please make sure your child comes to school with a jacket and appropriate outer wear for the weather (gloves, hat, multiple layers etc.) each day. In Ellington, students will have outdoor recess as long as the temperature and wind chill is above 21 degrees Fahrenheit. Thank you for your assistance in making recess fun and comfortable!

To ensure the safety of all students, this is a friendly reminder to please bring a picture ID with you when coming to Crystal Lake School. They are needed to check-in through the Verkada Security System, after you are approved a badge will print out, please wear this so it is visible and throughout your visit to CLS . We will also be potentially substituting or rotating staff and faculty at parent pick up, and unfamiliar faces will therefore also require an ID.

Thank you for your assistance to make our safety procedures run smoothly.

Please be sure to notify the front office of any absences, late arrivals, or early dismissals. Doing so helps streamline these processes and ensures the main office remains aware of who is in the building at all times. Please also remember to call prior to 2:30 pm when you need to pick up your child, also early pick needs to occur prior to 2:45 pm.
